maybe an option could be made sometime. The only thing I worry about is confusion, because if you open a save with an odd air mode, and clearing the simulation does not reset it back to what is expected, that could confuse some people. That is why it is reset right now, most people just want the default mode.

Or maybe i'm misunderstanding you, and you really just want the air mode you are using to be saved and remembered when you quit the game?

Version 87 beta is now out, see the first post, or the "what's new" on the main page to see the changes. It isn't too much, development is mostly at a standstill until the summer, but you can now click on an avatar on the save preview to view that person's profile (may display glitchy), and you can logout again with the split login button.

are you using the beta? there are some changes to the saving format for the beta, so you can't save in it because saves made with it are unable to be opened by the majority using the release version.

So you will have to go back to the release version if you want to save things

it was added around version 86.1 beta, so it is still pretty new. Also it is nice, not everyone can get gravatar working
