    lol, 700 KBs is not kb/s, you take 700 / 8 = actual download speed in kb/s. KBs stands for kilobits per second, while kb/s stands for kilobytes per second, but i agree, that should be fixed.

    10 seconds is the connection time-out, The amount of data transferred during a login is tiny, just a user-name and password, then the server responds "OK", that should happen almost instantly regardless of connection speed. There must be a more serious problem somewhere else to cause that error.
