    The new editor in the beta is better in every way, as well as being very similar to the old.

    or he could make or find a mod to get the old deco layer, but this new one is quite simple compared to the old one.

    The editor is what changed. The layer is the same.
    The new editor has useful features and works just fine.
    The smudge tool works like smudge, not like blur. Ever used Photoshop?
