Question about Salt water and Plants

I'm wondering. In a lot of older Falling Sand games, water would cause plant to grow and salt water would cause plant to die in equal proportion, being destroyed in the process.

I'm noticing though that salt water doesn't seem to affect plants at all. I can understand why distilled water doesn't. @_@

Should this be changed? I'm not sure why salt water doesn't already kill Plant.

I personally don't like this idea. I don't see the point of having something to kill plants, I know it does in real life but it happens quite slowly. If it did get implented I think it shouldn't happen immediately(atleat).

It's called reduce an elements vulnerability to acid :P. And I don't think theres a way cause it just turns the particle to nothing on contact if its vulnerable to acid.
