Hey guys and gals.
I see some people are having trouble using the new decoration layer, so I thought of making a guide for everyone.
This new deco layer uses RGB values to determine a color and a black/white bar to determine its brightness/darkness.
To make a color, play around by dragging the slider bar of each color (red, green blue) and then ajust its brightness the same way. To get specific colors, use this RGB color finder which will even give you the saturation, hue and brightness.
To erase what you drew, use CLR (clear)
To apply color to an element, use SET.
SMDG smudges colors like the old command.
DIV can be used like the old darken.
MUL can be used like the old lighten.
SUB and ADD can be used for transparency and make the color more opaque (lighter) or more transparent (mixes with the element color)
I hope I covered all the elements of the new deco layer in this tutorial. Please post comments if I forgot anything, got anything wrong, or if this was useful to you.
Cheers, Fast-Driver. :)
I honestly don't understand how people find this difficult.
I also find it more convinient for the deco layer placed as a menu, feels alot more comfortable and i don't have to press B everytime i make a mistake. <3
The-Fall:
I Honestly perfer the new deco over the old. Far more control over the color, and tools, and the stupid color selector isnt covering 1/4 the screen.
I agree.
I wouldn't call them stupid. It's not really fair to call people who don't want to change stupid.
I really like the new decoration menu. My only suggestion is to still have an option to bring up a colour selector of sorts.
