reminds me of something I once found. Compressed bhol turns into sing, but it doesn't always work. either bhol to sing or the other way around -

Gah, if you have a spark leading to NSCN near it, then it surely flickers. Keep the PSCN and NSCN away from each other for at least a distance of 2 pixels. -

You seem to be able to use PCLN fine in your sodium laser; why don't you upload an example of what you're talking about and post it here?
