INWR with SWITCH

    I read that the SWITCH element is only turned on and off respectfully with PSCN and NSCN. However, in a creation I'm helping with someone, I find that Insulated Wire, annoyingly, turns on SWITCH also, when what I really want is for it to be like metal or anything else. Is this a bug, or is this meant to happen?

    As far as testing proves, INWR won't turn on SWCH. Might be PSCN nearby. Diagonals count too.

    Hmm, I don't suppose it goes through INSL as well?

    Yes. Unlike sparks, "power" goes through INSL.

    SWCH power does not go through INSL. If you're still having problems, perhaps you could post the part of the save that is giving you trouble?
