    If you need a mod for your OS, you shouldn't have too much trouble compiling them yourself. There is little difference between the OS X 10.6 and 10.7 libraries in terms of TPT-required features.

    OS X support requires a set of libraries for Mac development, or just having a Mac portfile with the MacPorts project. (1)
    You also need to test it on a Mac and that requires more time. Get a Mac virtual machine and compile the Mac release on Mac. Might be better off than using the IMCROSS set (3). (2)
