If I were to download one of these many mods ive seen on this glorious website, what happens then? Do I copydrag the file into the TPT folder? lets say ive already done that. can I still save a simulation and publish it? even if it doesent include the mod? Can I install more than one at a time? Is there a special procedure to deleting them? Thank you for your help.

You go in the mod categories to download the mods. Then you extract the zip and run the .exe just like a normal save. You can't publish the save with elements that aren't in the official version. To delete, you just delete the .exe like any other file.

So, I can still make a private save, like for a group, as long as i dont publish it?

Mods are like a whole new powder toy.you can't combine elements from one mod to the next and people who open your saves you created with a mod will see all the mods elements deleted unless they are also running the same mod as you.

you should NOT MOVE THE MODED FILE!!! TPT should already be programed within it. Plus, if you use the elements the mod(s) added then published whatever it was, then only people with the mod(s) can see the moded elements. But even if you publish a simulation on the mod(s), and the elements are in the standard TPT, anyone can see them. I should know, I've done that.
