    I understand the pain.
It gets much easier, of course.

If you don't want to read my story, skip to the bold.

My cat, Merlin, 12 weeks ago died. He was 6 years old, white, persian (With the flat face). He was my best friend in the world. He was diagnosed with kidney failure 10 weeks before, and was given a year. It was only one day before it happened that he was starting to seem really sick. I wasn't there when he died, as I had to go to school. When I saw him, his face was clean, but my father had cleaned his face as it was covered in blood (For my sake). I was so unhappy, that I was extremely (physically) sick. Even to this day, I still feel the same way (very sad) every few nights, but the point is that life will resume to normal, eventually. The only thing that kept me going was the presence of my other cat.
This cat was with me every day for 6 years, slept on my bed every day, including the first and became the most important part of my life

So far I have lost 2 cats and one dog.

My point is, it will get easier, and you will feel better... It's just going to be hard. You will never forget your dog. It is like loosing a family member, because they are our family members.

The one thing you don't want to do though, is get rid of all traces of him... You will find that it is best to be reminded of him every now and then.

    R.I.P.

    Rest In Peace.

but if you read this article, you'll be happy feeding your dog.

SEVEN dogs are believed to have eaten their owner after he left them starving without food for two weeks, The Jakarta Post said today.

Andre Lumboga's mutilated body was found with his head cut from his body Monday inside his home at Greenland, Batam Center, in the Riau Islands, a province of Indonesia.

Seven dogs belonging to Lumboga attacked their master apparently as a result of being famished, police chief Eriyana, who uses one name, said.

"The victim was believed to have had nine dogs as pets. He went to Manado [North Sulawesi] during the Eid al Fitr holidays, leaving the dogs for 14 days without any food," the newspaper quoted him saying.

Two of the dogs were eaten by the others, Eriyana said.

The seven surviving dogs also lashed out at police when they tried to enter the house. "We had to paralyze them," Eriyana added.
