I was bored so made this off an episode of some TV show I saw once where they were using this huge tower surrounded by reflective panels to make electricity :D It takes a moment to warm up.
Wow, the reflector mirrors are really effective and it has a fairly efficient power output. Bad thing? The left side seems to generate a little less electricity.
Hmm, yeah. The fans are not mirrored, I just set them by hand and made no measurements. The issue is if they pull too much they end up sucking in water, which happens anyway. It's not a big issue since new water coming out is distilled and so still immediately boils by that point when the saltwater (which boils at a much higher temperature) is still being heated by falling salt.
I believe this is what is commonly known as a solar furnace, concentrating the heat reflected by millions of mirrors to a single point. It is known as a solar furnace for it can melt lead.
