i saw a computer on fp, it was incredible, good job LBPhacker. BECAUSE THESE THINGS ARE GETTING INSANE, I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO MAKE ONE RUN DOOM!!! (i don't care if it is at 0.1fps, its still cool) IF you want to go ABOVE AND BEYOND, make it run Half Life. good luck to all who accept. p.s. i don't even know how to play doom.

RP2040 Doom is about a 256 kB executable, which means at least 32 times the memory of the one in the demo. Since the R4 terminal is really low resolution and has no audio output, the other game files could also be significantly reduced in size. It would likely require modifications to the R4 design so it fits in the height limit, but it's not totally implausible.
Half-Life and Crysis are definitely outside the realm of plausibility. Half-Life is about a gigabyte on disk, and Crysis is even bigger. A 1 GB save file would likely get instantly rejected by TPT and its server. Even if the app doesn't immediately reject it, it would probably crash so horribly that I would get in trouble for even sharing a save file that big. In addition, this would mean storing over 4000 bytes of data per particle given the current particle cap. That's equivalent to stuffing my entire post into a single pixel with no layering, four times over. I'm pretty sure particles don't have enough properties for that.
There are methods to save up to 800,000 bytes in one pixel, with a little device around it to read and write. It's just that you have to connect that device to the computer, which should be possible with the data bus connection, but that'll be the first step noone has taken yet.
Just wanted to throw that out there. Only thing I still want to say is that it ain't me who's gonna do that.
