    Good idea, but it would certainly break many saves.

    this would be good for RTGs that are more compact and accurete, the power output would have to be rather low to make fusion and active fission reactors better options.

    @JozeffTech (View Post)

     maybe make it toggleable like ambient heat or newtonian gravity

    @RamenNoodlesGuy (View Post)  Radioactivity is also blocked by IRON.

    just add lead for that

    lead would block or at least absorb most of radiation, have a low melting point (370C) and be resistant to acid

    and maybe radiation simulation would be disabled by defalt to prevent save breakage.

    maybe high radioactivity on organic stuff should create some wierd liquid goop or something

    Because VIRS is OP

    Maybe option in settings to toggle it, just like @jaaaco said

    URAN should block radiation (Uranium is used for radiation shielding IRL) and have a lower radioactivity. In addition, VIRS is not the best thing for rad-poisoned life to decay to, as it would result in the complete consumption of all matter in contact with it. Also, NEUT should inflict radioactivity on materials it encounters.
