I usually avoid it, because people tend to get in each other's way on it. That, and trolls.

I only play for perhaps 5 minutes before some person carelessly clear the map or pour DEST on everything.

Here is a thread I made on it: https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=20575

Sounds like both of you were just unlucky ...

If you go on at the right time and there are people on, tpt multiplayer can be a lot of fun. If there are trolls, just report them to me / the chat. And if there are people who aren't very good .. then oh well try again later.

Anyway i'm not sure what the best times are, it really depends. It seems different every day.

    Probably when Americans are awake.
I stopped using the multiplayer script because I was alone most of the time. It's sad to live on the other side of the world from America :(

Edit: I will see if coming back is worth it.

It seems like the perfect classroom.  also private rooms can be setup.

We could consider making a new sort of form for servers where it features things like passwords and admin based on who created the server and who the creator has chosen rather than who was online most as if the creator had to leave someone else will take control.

The servers could probably have an IRC-like system, with operators having full control of a save, and moderators (half-ops) being able to moderate the save/chat.

1.0 already has operators, just global ones. Most of it will have to be done by server side hooks but it is definitely better. I could add server side hooks to do a lot more fancy things now.

I don't think we need passwords ... setting a room to /private and using /invite seems to work. Invites don't expire until everyone leaves a room, if I remember correctly I think they stay even when you quit. So if the owner quits they can rejoin, although someone else will have moderation control now.
