Is/will the powder toy die?

I have desided that with the lack of development into new elements and reactions, the powder toy will soon die, everyone will find every possible reaction or bug and there will no longer be any new saves without copies.

    Well decided! 👍

Let's just forget about the semi-active development, decent monthly pulse, an active wiki, hundreds of new saves, and an ever-increasing modder community.

Also let's forget about the 65 million requests made per month totalling 575 GB in traffic.

No. The Powder Toy is not going to die anytime soon. Plus the TPT community is ever increasing. I doubt it ever will, obviously the ever increasing young developers are increasing rapidly. Simon was last active in March.

It's hard to tell but I wouldn't say the community has gotten smaller recently (it definitely used to be way larger years ago though).

Also I stopped development for like 2 months, but boxmein's link proves that i'm back now :)

No idea what i'll do but hopefully something cool. Probably not new elements though, but you never know.

Yeah. Definitely don't forget about mods. There are a few active modders right now that I have seen. For instance, @FeynmanLogomaker and some dude called @firefreak11 have some mods out as well as up and coming content. There are also past mods that you can check out, and @jacob1's mod (don't know if he is still actively developing it). Furthermore, there are many lua scripts and compilations of these scripts that compose mods. You can even become a modder if you know Lua or C++ (or C if you are hipster enough). Some people, including myself, have even attempted to make clone mods of TPT in other languages.
