(name given to simple fuel found on the asteroid. Probes require a lot of this fuel to go fast, that is why it cant get far, as not much fuel was collected from the asteroid. also being made manable.)
2) The Kamchatkan Telescope has spotted a distant star with a slight dimness every 31 Hours. The planet found on the star SVX301 is named SVX301A. (300 light years away)

While all the other countries and nations are stuck up using unreliable, potentially dangerous and limited sources like uranium, plutonium and anti-matter, RNN engineers are researching the simple, safe and unlimited 'free energy'.

Leave the disasters with spying and other stuff like that, don't accuse other players of stuff they didn't do just to make drama.
The 7 months have passed and the AHC is the first nation to put a probe out of the Earth's sphere of influence. The probe takes a couple cool pictures of the Sun and sends them back. They look cool as heck.
The AHC has begun work on creating a working gauss gun. The weapon will be able to launch metal projectiles at incredible speeds, up to 7 times the speed of sound. The projectiles will be small, made of steel and maybe infused with tungsten. The gun will be completed in about 8 months of work and the projectiles will be able to slice through anything... maybe.
The AHC has also declared that the spies have no AHC connections and after an investigation, they are found to be part of a terrorist movement located in the north of the Black sea.

That's literally a rail gun. A common rail gun accelerates tungsten projectiles to MACH-7. I just searched it up and it said just that. If anything RNN made it first.

Actually, theres a difference. A rail gun is a magnetic accelerator, using electromagnets to 'slingshot' a projectile forward. The only drawback is that it takes longer to reload, as the epectromagnets require manual recoiling and reloading of ammunition. Gauss cannons on the other hand are magnetic repulsors. They use magnetism in the same way a firearm using gunpowder, it oushes the projectile forward. It cant travel as far or fast as a railgun, but can be quickly reloaded. Thats why handheld railguns are not seen to be a thing, but handheld gauss cannons are.
Kydonian begins research into subatomic particles and their properties. It is shown that elements can be synthesized that can emit large amounts of electrons, and those electrons can be guided by magnetic forces. A top secret project is now in the works, and will be completed in 10 years.
Kydonian Combat Air Patrols found a strange occurence, their dosimeter badges went bad while flying over the AHC. Secret talks with AHC officials state that Kydonia knows about the nuclear reactors, and wants a piece of the action, in exchange for a blueprint of Kydonia's new weapon when it is developed.
Kydonia installs point defense systems on all ships, as well as at key points on its mainland. If any enemy aircraft, missile or projectile gets past the scores of Combat Air Patrols, Surface to Air Missiles, ABMs, or jamming frequencies, this will assured take it down, or at least diminish its effect.
