RNN's still here! Our ODUs have been searching for the hive-mind for a week now. We have hypothesized that it will be lurking somewhere in a cave or underground structure such as the sewers, but we are still searching. The elimination mission will not be derogated at any circumstances. The things could be anywhere now...so RNNAF sends an aeral patrol over to south Africa, hoping to find the hive-mind quicker than only with satellites.

The hive-mind is pleased. Its spores have reached their prime and the wind will now take them towards the so-called RNN and AHC. A horde of infected hosts will also begin their march towards Madagascar, where currents will float their boddies to the shores, where some will liberate spores while some others will begin devouring the population.
A new type evolved, 'the spitter'. This type of infected would take a measly 2 years to evolve, depending on the body. These types will be able to spit their stomach's acids, which will will evolve to be far more destructive. They do not yet need ecolocation, since their eyes aren't totally covered by the fungus and although they are terribly short-sighted, they prove to be a great threat towards distant targets.

The AHC shall not just stand on its arse while its comarades fight.
AH cities now face strict quarantine protocols and curfews to make sure the spread of the illness is greatly reduced. AHC police forces are educated on how to spot and deal with a possible infected person, along with educating the population on how to deal with an infected individual and just telling them to stay away from people who seem suspecious.
AH cities now have large concrete walls between them an the rest of the surroundings with a handfull of openings, to ensure that the spores will have a harder time entering and that infected cannot swarm a gate. In some areas on the walls were placed large fans to push away spores and keep them at bay in case danger of an outbreak is high.
The AHAF (Anti-Hitler-Air-Force) carries out bombardments of possible locations of the 'hive-mind' and the so-called 'zone 0', the tribe first infected, in some cases even dropping napalm onto them. After a few weeks of bombardments, AH specialists with the help of RNN scientists and Zylit funding, have gave the 'all clear' on ground 0 and the fungus activity in south Africa was greatly lowered.

All RNN borders are desiccated and rid of any passages and underground structures through which the disease could penetrate our defences.
RNN is very safe as we already set up filtering mechanisms and nets, air ventilations and systems, stupendously resistant walls and stipulated very precise and cautious quarantine proceedures. Scientists have concluded an average infected host will become aggressive and insane within the time span of two days. Thus every suspected civilian must be sternly quarantined for approximately a week, just to be ensured whether the person is infected or not.
Regulations involve limb and neck protection when outside as well as an emergancy number to dial. ODU surveillance patrols are now finding spots where infected are abundant and so were eliminated immediately. ODU satellites are equipped with new weaponry such as napalm and MIRVs.
Why were the inhabitants of the Aral Sea so strident to show how independant and brave they were? Why were they so stubborn against the protection and honesty of the RNN? Why didn't they join us? They wanted liberty and now they're nothing but piles of walking mould...

It is time...
A long long time ago, a man had an idea. That man's name was Seth, and that idea was to leave this belligerent world to rot in its own waste. He gathered up a few thousand of his colleagues, workers and friends, and set sail in a great number of ships from the western coast of South America. This ship-nation was then called Kydonia. Since that time, they have allowed many multitudes of people to join them, and have advanced far... They know everything about all the new nations, as small water craft have been sent ashore to gather resources and steal technology for our scientists to reproduce. We'd even discovered a few dozen US and Japanese warships that survived The Fall, including 7 aircraft carriers. Over the years, we dismatled ships and reworked their materials into a single massive floating platform that Kydonians refer to as the Mainland. On the Mainland, we have farms, houses and others necessities for average life. We have had the capability of radio for a long time, after stealing blueprints from other nations, and have been listening all this time...
Now, so many years after that first message of "Are you still there?", Kydonia replies. "Yes. We have been here all along. We know of this pestulent fungus, and we think we may have a defense against it." This is no lie. After careful extraction of infected corpses, studies and experiments have shown that a mineral found in a specific form of phytoplankton help to supress and even eliminate the fungus from the human body. Kydonia has already vaccinated every member of the nation, and prepare aircraft from the ancient carriers to take the new medicine to the other nations. "We will only supply the medicine. Not the source it comes from." This phytoplankton, hereafter known as X1, are sampled and summarily eradicated. The only remaining sources of the X1 vaccine is deep in the heart of the Mainland, guarded by Kydonia's most elite military, the Praetorian Guard. Kydonia is the only possible supplier of X1, and anyone infected who cannot be cured (75% of all infected cannot be cured, only supressed) need a dose X1 every three days.
Kydonia proposes alliances with every nation.

Although the supposed technology theft of Kydonia is suspecious, AHC leaders agree on a 10 year long non-aggresion pact and a 7 year long alliance. The terms of the alliance are:
1. All Kydonian army personnel shall keep a 100 square kilometre distance from AH shores at all times.
2. Kydonia will supply the AHC with vaccines until either the whole population is deemed ressiliant to the fungus, or the disease is wiped out.
3. AH Personnel will inspect the main floating fortress every 2 months for 1 year.
4. Kydonian navy shall not rise above 30 air-craft carriers for the fallowing 2 years.
5. All Kydonian stolen research schematics from the AHC must be returned.
6. Travel and trade will still be uneffected, unless borders have to be shut in the event of war, pandemic or other natural disaster.
7. Kydoninan aid-workers must aid the AHC in the event of a natural disaster and vice-versa.
8. If the terms are broken before the treaty is declared void, the AHC will block all trade and travel towards Kydonia and vice-versa.
