(Shhh.... I know I'm HitlerSucks' alt, but I'll play too. Anyone who disagrees will be shot! And after that he will be shot again! And again! Again! Again! etc.)

Somewhere deep within the mountains of former Afghanistan, a few united tribes continue to survive despite the on-going epidemic, the food crisis and the radioactive wasteland that surrounds them. They have survived despite countless attacks and sieges made by the so-called Anti-Hitler Commonwealth, all of which were stopped, but now they face a new enemy... What they call the Nalanist States is gearing up for an assault on their homeland. But they will be greated by little more than the lead coming out of our rifles! They shall not tread on sacred ground like on some sort of disgarded land! We will fight to the last man, we shall never surrender!

    (we declare war)

Apologies if I am disturbing. I just had the chance to catch what's been going on here. Pretty interesting. I guess the emphasis is on realism as per the actions that you make as well as diplomacy with others. For quite a while I've been thinking upon and developing the rules for my own large scale war game emphasizing numerical storage of resources and stats as well as emphasis on realistic infrastructure, administration, population, commerce, industry, production, combat and logistics abstraction bearing some mathematical aspects as well as dice roles. The rules are varying in complexity but the general notion is that instead of relying on 'democracy' for battle resolution or technological advancements you could all 'submit' under the 'autocracy' of a set of defined rules, statistics, the current state of your nation, population, government, resources, logistic pathways and economy to determine theoretical numbers that everyone can accept as being 'realistically defined' by the 'computer.' Annexation, communications, logistics systems, infrastructure and resource extraction would be things that would have to be researched and implemented over time using more resources and labour. Players would have one 'statistics administration card' post to edit and keep track of what actions they can perform and the resources they can expend. Players could team up to manage decisions spanning their government plus annexation systems and transactions could be made more realistic.

So decisions now require the sequence of past events leading you to having the infrastructure, resource, workforce and logistics by which to perform that action. Actions aren't fully 'creative' now but highly limited by realistic restraints on what your country has. To have the 'idea' of a space program and say you can implement it versus having had put in all the time and administrative work to gain the numerical resources for such an action. Basically to add and 'calculate' more details into the game through which to have more guided fan fiction with a more interesting 'driving force' behind it. Plus if we want we could use any sort of map for any fictional world with proper border changes and administrative jurisdictions.

Just an idea that I'd imagine putting on a different thread if ever. Just hoping what you guys think of any more mathematically guided numerical determination based games. I guess freedom adds its own fun to this particular thread. I guess the action cards already implemented here are pretty nice and effective. So less of people making up or estimating numbers and agreeing and more deterministic actions influencing this arbitrary number.

Well the game is pretty boring during peace-time and we can only have disasters every decade or so.

Saudi Arabia is under our control. Please leave.

We will only accept the alliance if you leave Arabia alone.

Care I don't. Saudi Arabia is meant to be Islamic country. Lets not make crusades out of this.

You started in Kazachstan and Morroco!

    We started in Jordan!

If anything, you are the ones invading Islamic territory.

Leave or begin the 10th* Crusade!

*The number of crusades is widely debated.
