I don't usually see/hear about people painting as much now. I always feel like I ruin my drawings if I color them, so that's why I'm hoping to get a drawing tablet for Christmas.

I use charcoal, pastel, graphite mediums. Charcoal is hard to control either it smears, or I make it into charcoal powder. Never use your finger to blend reason why? the oils in your finger will turn the charcoal or graphite brown over a five year period or ten. To get the cloud affect I used an kneaded eraser.
