Boron Carbide is a ceramic and absorbs neutrons. Boron rods in nuclear reactors help control the rate of fission so that it doesn't EXPLODE

More like preventing the reactor core from overheating and melting into a pile of slag. Any explosions would be from pressurized steam, or from hydrogen igniting.

Good Idea. I think adding ceramics in TPT. Would be fairly great and have scientific purposes, it'd be neat to be added. I hope Lockheedmartin, got positive feedback from the devs. And the colour should be a Light Green.Boron Carbide (BORC) should be the element name.

Personally I am really wanting it to be pure white.  really.  no really.  I dont care what its called.  there are already too many elements in the pink-red range.

    PSCN

    PVOD

    VOID

    HSWC

    PSNS

    TNT

And thats just solids.  then we have

    VIRS

    ACID

    CLST

    PROT

    DMOE

    HLIF

I seriously hope it is NOT red/light red/pink.

I decreased the heat conduction from 45 to 35 in my mod, it melts way slower now. (people were complaining about the old rate ...)

It looks kind of like CLST except with grey and white instead.
