E-wall-like element

E-wall is good for some things, but advanced version is needed.

    Details:

Powered with P-silicon, turned off with N-silicon. If theres chunk of this element, and one gets activated, the whole chunk becomes activated.

when powered, acts like indestructible INSL, when inactive, lets everything through.

This element is needed because it is then easier to let particles through without need of BTRY or manually sparking it, and its needed also because it can be used in smaller places than E-wall.

I know that a lot of users want all walls to act like solid elements to save some space, 1px instead of 4 px movable by pstn, have the ability to color the wall and other things. I know that that will be useful but idk what mods will do about that :/

I have an element similar to this (powered invisible) in my mod. It doesn't work very well. The code to turn it on / off has a bunch of strange hacks because you have to deal with particles inside of other particles. Also E-wall works much better as a wall anyway.

I know that your mod is pretty awesome but the thing is that we want to public saves and get people to vote on it. If you can public saves in your mod then I am pretty sure that there will be a low number of people there right ?

Edit: "hacks" ? what ? this is your mod, you can say "hacks" when someone else hacked throw the game and changed the code right ?

the point of my post wasn't to say to use my mod, it was to say that e-wall wouldn't work very well as an element. It *could* work, but I think it's best to just continue using walls ...

what if you made a version of STOR that keeps accepting and ejecting particles one by one after sparking with PSCN and stops when sparked with NSCN.  call it VALV (valve)

It appears he mean one of the non-security definitions of hack, the one question being "a temporary solution meant to be replaced by a better one in the future".

Thats pretty good idea, but sounds slow

I know there are some ways to increase the spark rate.  I have seen a couple of saves that do it.  used with this idea it could deliver a lot of material.  derp.

use multiple particles in a line with PSCN at one end and NSCN at the other.  if it is 10 pix long then 10 particles will pass.  as long a s each pixel of VALV has a source on the other side it will collect a new particle and then eject every 4th frame.  that would be the cycle of INST.
