Need bug fix

SPRK flowing through conductors generates pressure. This is real annoying when I try to heat a powered substance by placing it on a conductor and then run current through it. The powder (such as dust) ends up wafting up into the air and then it can't be heated.

Oops, wrong section. Moderator please move this to the proper forum section.

and what if the save uses pressure

    put titanium around your conductors

    titanium blocks pressure

This isn't actually a bug, spark has always created a little pressure. I would just turn air sim off if you are making any type of electronic thing that doesn't need it. It will also prevent some lag for the people that run it.

Did you know that titanium conducts too?

     What about

    TTAN

    INSL

    WATR

    INSL

    TTAN

My heater is made of Tungsten. It (as with most conductors in TPT) generates pressure when SPRK passes through it. For it to work I need to have the substance to be heated in direct contact with the Tungsten. Putting TTAN around it will simply melt the TTAN (at the temperatures I'll be working with) and prevent it from acting as a pressure shield. I can't put insulation between the TTAN and the Tungsten to shield the TTAN from the heat, or it will prevent the substance I want to heat from being heated.

My project will only work if the TPT devs turn off the SPRK pressure or provide a checkbox in the options dialog that will allow me to turn off the SPRK pressure.

I doubt there are any saves that actually depend on SPRK making pressure, so if even if it was permanently disabled, I doubt anybody would notice (no broken saves). However the presence of this SPRK pressure can sure MESS UP simulation that depend on powdered stuff sitting right where it is in relation to conductors carry SPRK, without being blown around by pressure.

Must be possible, jacob1 once promised he was going to make an advanced option menu.

    Still waiting.....

Actually, there are a lot of saves that depend on spark pressure to do things. As far as your problem goes, you heat switch to transport the heat to the thing you want heated. That way the pressure doesnt interact with the thing you are heating.
