Hi,
First off, I must say, I love TPT. I've had a bunch of fun on it, but probably one of the things that I have noticed which has been a slight annoyance to me is the omission of an option to scale things in size when, say, importing a saved stamp. I would like to see this option in future versions of TPT. I understand that when upscaling, some quality would be lost, as with downscaling. However, It would be really convenient for me, and hopefully a lot of other TPT users, as when I'm building stuff, and I think, "Hey, wouldn't that look great bigger?" (this happens a lot with me), It would be really handy to have such a tool. It would be similar to the Ctrl+R option to rotate, but with something like Ctrl+ +, or Ctrl+ -.
If this could be implemented, I would be extremely grateful. Or if anyone knows of a mod for something similar, I'd really appreciate it. If this is already implemented, please tell me.
Thanks in advance, Lewster
It'd be helpful in some applications, such as if you wanted to scale up something, say a cannon or pixel art. But downscaling and electronics may cause some issues with the models and the functionality of said models
Would it be possible to have an adjustable resolution for the simulation? Because if that was so, then you could implement this feature. If you had a stamp created at a lower resolution, you could downscale it when in the higher resolution. Kind of in the way that one resizes a .JPG or similar. When upscaling, new pixels are created are around the source pixel, and when downscaling, merge 4 pixels into one. Is it possible to create a hybrid element for this to work? It would merge the properties of the other particles around it into itself. And btw thanks for responding so quickly, I'm a big fan of the work you devs put into this game.
