Well about this time last year we would be wondering the same question, and the truth is, nothing really significant did happen. So I don't really expect anything significant to happen.
The community right now seems to be larger than this point last year, which surprises me because it went down a lot over the year before that. I think it will continue to grow, but only if we can get more devs to implement these features you are expecting here and release constant updates. I mean, there hasn't been a new version in over a month and I can't think of anything interesting for the next version ...
Anyway, yes there will be more trolls and highly annoying users, and half the users that have posted in this thread won't be here in a year. There will be some new good users to replace them.
I doubt we will have moving solids, but there will be some cool new elements I hope (and some from my mod), there will probably be a fully featured multiplayer lua script, a new options menu, following othr users, and many more features. And of course a ton and ton of bug fixes, because that's what I do best (and still unfortunately have to fix in tpt++)
This took 10 minutes to type ... its so hard on a phone keyboard and when the textbox keeps moving.
I'm sure it will grow. We have a few PR plans in progress, along with some minor extensions to the usability of the site and game interface. Other than that, that's all I can say.
