    greymatter:

Well, gold has been added, and the platinum thread is going well. So here comes Aqua regia.

    Name:AQRG

    Category:Liquids

    Description:Aqua regia. Dissolves certain metals.

    Colour:Red

    Properties:Dissolves gold,platinum,and tin(if they are added).

    Cannot dissolve any other elements.
Disappears over time/disappears when heated/disappears when SOAP is added(choose best one, preferably 3) leaving behind any dissolved material.

Formation:By mixing nitrogen and acid(if nitrogen is added.)
uses:Destroying circuits when certain conditions are met,Realism,Creating circuits without cray, and more

Suggest/support/approve/disapprove below.Useful if platinum also is added.

Actually, aqua regia can NOT burn though platinum.

EDIT: Only HOT Aqua Regia can burn though it.

    minecraft-physics:

Also, TTAN should be invulnerable to AQRG (true irl) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqua_regia

    Properties:Dissolves gold,platinum,and tin(if they are added).

    Cannot dissolve any other elements.

Duh.Also, I read the wiki page to get the facts right before even creating this thread.

Speaking of wiki. No one has apparantly read the wiki entirely, or they would know that when it dissolves gold it makes Chloroauric acid. You would also know that gold can also be dissolved by hydrochloric acid and chlorine. I don't know if Realistic Science Mod has chlorine. And, NO, this does not form aqua regia, but it does make chloroauric acid.

Edit: Chloroauric acid will also dissolve more gold and is conductive as an electrolyte. But if you apply electricity to it, the gold will be extracted.

REEdit: Aqua regia also wears out over time. It just turns into normal acid and can no longer dissolve gold.

I read the wiki properly. I eliminated things like chloroauric acid for the sake of simplicity. It's powder toy,not powder chemistry class.

REEdit: Aqua regia also wears out over time. It just turns into normal acid and can no longer dissolve gold.
    Read the properties:
Disappears over time/disappears when heated/disappears when SOAP is added(choose best one, preferably
    Disappears over time

No, I made it turn into normal acid and fume caustic gas. Just like real aqua regia.
