That'll happen right after pigs fly... (and no I dont mean 'down my throat)
I think we should have more 'beings' as you put it dispite the difficulty of the coding. I can see it now, with all its functions and everything. In the sandbox it has ants and things... that shouldn't be too hard. It could have the basic, non-controlable actions and reactions that could greatly improve gameplay. I say why not create them. Despite the coding, I bet if every player (besides the haters, spammers, ect.) knew how this could improve TPT then every single one would want it added.
i personally like the idea of a single pixel with the traits of a being, so no worries about moving solids. though i would hope it would be slightly more heat resistant than the stickman. if it could move up through say wood and run away from drops(and/or die when falling off) then we would have a significant tool for cities- you really would need to consider what the particle people "need" and what would protect them. it just sounds fun :P
Guys...think here. Merge stickman code with TRON code. Then stickman can walk around on its own.
P.S. greymatter...we can use that for my Plasma Ball element. That's exactly what we need. But leave the glow effect, it needs that. :D
I think that might work, but wouldn't the reflections on an uneven surface be... wonky? and how would things chemically react?
I love the idea of the user element from oecake. perhaps we could implement a "character" like that but with only one pixel? and you could place multiple at once and stuff! if anything, that should be added.
regarding the ai:
how easy would it be to implement? howabout a perameter like ctype or something where you could make a particle "sentient" by changing it to a one or zero? obviously, some wouldn't work. but that's just a thought.
and what's with the fighter ai? it kinda is derpy :P
