i'm not sure if it's possible with the WYSIWYG editor, but if you know html I recommend turning it off. it inserts a bunch of random formatting into posts and it might mess up <sub>s. But I don't know since I haven't used the editor in a really, really long time.
Also, i'm pretty sure <font> is removed from any posts -

Alright, first off al, turn off WYSIWYG editor in your options. I never turn it on since i know html. Then type <~font size~="1"><~sub><~sub><~sub><~sub>INSERT TEXT HERE</~sub></~sub></~sub></~sub> without all the tildes(~) and post and WALLAH! you can use sup instead of sub too. sub stands for subscript (like 2 in h2o) and sup is superscript(like 3 in 23) Hope you get it! TPT is one of the few forums in which you can do awsome stuff if you know html. like impersonating people for example :P

Edit2: ok I give up ... i'm not going to spent the time to make a better looking one. It can still fool some people that look quickly
