So the idea is like this:

The energy goes in and gets stored then goes out.

Thats called a capacitor. Good idea, improve on it and it could work.

Looks like you guys got the idea of what I was trying to accomplish. I cant wait until it gets implemented!

I know this might look like a necro, but has this been implemented yet or did it get pushed aside by other projects?

I don't know what you expect me to give you. It seems like half the time, I have a large homework assignment to do, and can't code tpt anyway, I just do this in my free time. Simon and cracker64 are the only other active devs, and they also don't always do things. So most weeks, we might not have anything useful to show.

Also, the game is open source anyway, just go here: https://github.com/FacialTurd/The-Powder-Toy/commits/master to see the history.

Basically, today is a good week because Simon added new features (I usually just fix bugs). There is now an option for avatars on the save previews, and soon you will be able to view profiles in game, also I think edit them from the game too. Until this is finished there can't be a new version also, so the next version which should have been last week is delayed.

avatars is the current project Simon is doing, my only current project is fixing bugs (but I think Simon asked me to finish profiles in game, which I can't start til tuesday), and cracker64 was improving element function speeds. After these projects, we don't really have any plans. I have some long term plans that will be hard to do with a busy schedule so I don't start them.

Now about VIBR, this is something I wanted to do when I made it, but I never did. I'm not sure what the best way to have energy drained from the VIBR is, but I guess people here are suggesting PPIP, and I sort of agree with that since I can't think of any other way. I'll try doing that soon, I hope in time for the next version because tpt's release schedule seems to have become monthly.
