while not interacting with server, (like updating, saving, logging in, commenting) everything is kept private, no one can see your stamps remotely, or see what you do, etc
All other things are logged on server

The motd is picked randomly from a list every night at midnight (7PM EST). I made an updated motd list with more links and other fixes and stuff, and gave it to Simon. He seems to have added a few more to the list, like this one.

I can tell you what is logged though. We log when you save and stuff, but can't see like an exact histoy of when you start tpt, when exactly you saved everything, etc. Maybe Simon can, but that's probably deep in some log file that no one will ever read unless updating is broken (which happened once). We log when you comment, and can view the last 10 (and the rest are obviously stored somewhere else). Somewhere it's logged where you vote, but I can't look at that most of the time.
So mniip is right in that all server events are logged somewhere, but they probably aren't ever read.

And things you do privately not on the server aren't even logged at all, like stamps, local saves, running scripts, etc.


Maybe if Simon sees this he will remove it from the list. I never read that book, I only knew sort of what it meant. I did think it seemed kind of strange.
