If you saw/found aliens...

What would you do? Would you try to communicate with it? Would you run away? Turn it in to the police/government? Attack it? Honestly I would try to communicate with it. Attempting to kill it or turning it in would be my last options. Who knows what those crazy guys would do to the poor thing. Its like going on a holiday to Antartica, being abducted by penguins, and cut apart and tested on!

I have seen a total of 2 UFO's.The first I am skeptical of. You know when you look at a bright light then look away and you have that annoying blur in your vision? It might have been that, but it basically looked like a black, upside down Pacman ghost just hovering, then it disappeared.

The second I saw just a few minutes ago. It was just an orange light in the night sky, it wasn't midnight, but the late stages of dusk (about 9:00pm where I live), and it flew forward for about 3 seconds, then just faded away. I don't know if it was a satellite or not, but I hope it wasn't.

I would run away. Most people would, regardless of what they say... because it's a lot easier to say you would try to communicate than it is to do so without wetting your pants.

In the strictest sense, you can't be very skeptical of a UFO, since it doesn't necessarily mean alien :P if you mean aliens, it sounds like you should be skeptical of the second one... say to yourself "I saw an orange light in the night sky that faded away... It must be aliens"

I've never had an alien sighting (or seen a UFO) and am quite skeptical, since the sightings are Unidentified flying objects. I'm not so closed minded as to think that it's not possible the sightings were of aliens, I'm just skeptical bevause it's a big deal.

I'd found out how to communicate with it first from a safe distance, then try to communicate with it in person...who knows...i might be the first human to make friends with a extraterrestrial being. :D

I've had my own stores of UFO's...you know those white balls of light that look like blurred at night? I always see them, they travel fast and mostly go in tight curves and circles. The size of the circle that was giving offlight was i think around 40 or 50m

I wouldn't run, because that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. They would be just as scared as us as we are of them, and I imagine pissing off a race with much better technology (assuming they fly here) is an absolutely terrible idea. I would attempt friendly contact, and if that fails, I would just wait and try again.

Also, you did not see any alien UFOs. Really, our military would be all over a UFO if one was found.

I believe what you are talking about is an afterimage. It occurs when one set of optical cone cells is "tired" and no longer fires when exposed to it's primary colour, making patchs in one's vision.

-If the aliens were wielding weapons/were twice my size (so about 8 foot high would be a deal breaker) I would lay down and pack poo.

-If the aliens were cute I would hide in a bush and wait until they did something. About half an hour is a safe period of time to assume they won't destroy anything.

-If the aliens were "scientific" (ie. setting up equipment that isn't a gun) I ight approach afer a time.

it is thought that people thesedays would be more prepared than they think. Just look at you - you believe mildly, so it wouldn't be a shock.

I would grab a weapon, most likely a gun because that would be the best option.  Then, I would approach it slowly, and try and communicate with it.  If I couldn't communicate by words, I would by hand signals and drawings of items around us.  If there is no response, I would sort of arrest it.  Although, if it was intelligent, I would continue to try and communicate to try and get a basic understanding of peace to it.  If it did anything in an efort to harm someone or something, that's the end of the alien...  "I hope".  If it was weilding weapons, I would arrest it, and then report it to a scientific group, not the government.   The only thing I would run away from is if it was weilding weapons that seem futuristic.  I would not want a highly advanced other lifeform attacking the human race.

-And btw, I believe in aliens but don't believe they have visited the Earth yet, there would be more evidence.

What if there was no response because they could not recognize the hand signals and drawings?

Maybe using lights, different patterns of blinking lights could work

I would hypnotize them with the lights.
