What da? Wha?

Huh, Dec, I was once like you (skillfully)

I made saves using overlapping extraneously large electronics, globs of unstraightened diamond walls, and even walls themselves. But listin, in a period of no more than 3 months, I started to improve. I'm not saying that I am good at TPT, I know that I have a long ways to go. But I have evolved enough to realize that, well, practice makes perfect. Keep on trying, Dec. I know that as long as you don't give up, you will get better. And maybe, you will make an FP save.  

Tips for getting fp:

1. Make friends: This is the most important rule. Having friends that both know you and regualy look at your saves seriously boosts your chance of getting the front page. They can comment on improvements, give you advice, and back you up if you get attacked. Also, even if your save doesn't get fp and looked at by a lot of people, you at least know they looked at it.

2. Clean up saves and arrange signs neatly: A clean save is a good save. Even if it isn't that hard a concept, a tidy save will alway's look better than a rushed one.

3. Make saves that regualy get the fp. People wont mind if you remake a few idea's like reactors or cities as long as your starting out. It shows you know what your doing and how to use tpt.

3. Don't leave dust on the screen! I need a seperate catagory to make this point. Even the pro's do it and it makes saves look unprofessional

4. Follow up on trends and fabs: If you see a new idea that has got front page for multiple people, feel free to follow up and make one yourself! People see it as a competition as long as one person hasn't laid claim to the idea.

actually i think i will blame the problem to a small portion of the tpt community that cares only about searching a unreasonable reason to downvote

and i blame my self for having no friends (hahaha)

I have a few questions.-

1) If a save goes unnoticed for several months, then suddenly get lots of views and votes, will it get fp?

2)What decides how long a save stays on fp?

3)Some of my saves have got 18+votes at some points and 500+views. But it never made to fp. Why?

I have been playing TPT for over half a year, but (as far as i can see) made no friends and got no fp

 1. After a save is first published it has a one week time-zone to reach FP, if it doesn't do it then it never will unless it gets promoted by a mod/admin.

 2.The number of votes and views in a certain time span gives a save a placing on FP, if the votes and views get less consistant it may drop off. Also it will drop off after 1 week at the most.

3. Honestly 18 votes and 500 views isn't very good, probably most of the votes came after the 1 week cut-off so they wouldn't count towards FP.

18 votes and 500 views isn't good? WHAT!!!

I've seen saves on fp with 4 votes and 12 views, most new saves have 10-15 votes and 300-400 views as far i noticed, and 18 votes and 500 views is not good! no way man,no way.
