The GIFS look great so far. How do you make them?

Careful screenshot-making inside of Powder Toy, and then using the batch processing part of XnView to auto-crop the images so that they contain only the box in the center of the game field.

Then I use an old old version of adobe fireworks to turn the bmp files into a GIF o.o

@Catelite's method requires work and patience but it has a really good finish. There is also a program to record the desktop and convert it into GIF instantly. The quality won't suffer. Select if to loop or not, et cetera. It's called LICEcap.
    It looks kinda like this..
I captured it not so well, but here's an example:

Does anyone know how to add language links to the sidebar like Wikipedia usually has? It might be more complicated than it's worth, but it would make changing languages easier and wouldn't require pasting the language template into every page.

I'm using an ancient version of fireworks, no idea if you pay for it or not. @_@

Besides finding a program to compile the GIF, which you should be able to use a program like GIMP or photoshop for, you also have to be careful about file size. People on slower connections won't be able to load GIF animations larger than a few dozens of kilobytes without noticable lag while opening.

I wasn't aware that I was working on it...

It might be possible somehow with MediaWiki:Sidebar, but I haven't really looked at it (I'm busy doing other things at the moment). https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Interface/Sidebar

Edit: We don't do translations in the same way as Wikipedia. Foreign languages on Wikipedia are separate wikis and may contain a completely different set of pages to the English Wikipedia. Our translations are subpages, and should follow the same layout as the English pages. Also, our translations are currently rather sparse. So I'm not sure Wikipedia-style sidebar links to the main page of each language would work well for us.

If we had sidebar language links, it would probably have to be per page, with a similar effect to putting {{Languages}} in the sidebar. However, it isn't immediately obvious to me how to do this. I reckon we should stick with the {{Languages}} at the bottom of each page for now.

There's a bug on the plasma page, it's at 10000°K, but that can't be converted into C or F, because a comma is inserted before the math is done. I really don't know how to fix it (I tried), so maybe someone else can?
