    I do have a mod already (jacob1's mod). You should get it, it's one of the most popular, but discontinued until I port it to tpt++. And also, i'm a developer now, so even though it's pointless, if I made it there's no reason not to use it in official.

    what we need is a laser element that comes out at max temperature. Animations like TRON but creates a solid burning line until turned off ;)

    Lasers have been rejected gazzilions of times, use photons.

    Anyone heard of the bukkit plugin CraftBook? It basically replicates tekkit features and much more with pipes and redstone IC's and gates and bridges, teleporters, lifts, chairs, etc without any client mods. I am the developer of it; So in short, yes. I have heard of minecraft.
