Personally, I don't see a great lot of new elements ever being added. Maybe niche elements, but we've pretty much hit the saturation point for elements.

It's possible someday a way for users to add their own new elements using a template of properties might be added so that scripts could be used to generate new elements that could be copied and loaded, but I'm not really sure how successful or easy that would be.

And this game is hardly going downhill. :P

Development seems to have hit a snag, however with the coode migration that is expected, as programming in a seperate language is difficult to adapt to even if you know the language.

However, I do agree with the sense that something has "Slowed down" We have 1 "Active" Modder, Jacob1, we lost cracker, and antB( D: ) and no new people are daring enough to pick up slack. (I would like to, having knowledge of C & C++ however, I have school, and not nearly enough freetime to commit to such an undertaking.) We need a new system for adding elements. Perhaps a second Array for elements.

What are you on about? Cracker64 and Xenocide (AntB) are still live, they're on IRC though). Check IRC out, lots of action going on, and it hardly is going slow. I think many new members (like me, for a while) hadn't known such a chatroom existed.

Well, lots of stuff is happening, just we have to take it in baby steps. And remember, no one is getting paid or anything (I don't see why you'd wanna get paid much anyway, lol) so don't blame them.

If you guys can't help it, learn C++ like I am now. Or maybe learn Lua and make your own elements.

C++ is really close to C. Not that much "hard to adapt to". TPT++ constantly gets added new features - check it out! Also, as far as I know and and care, since version 82.0 the official game _is_ TPT++.

Most, if not all, the forum moderators hang out in a super secret chatroom and are awesome.

The transition from TPT to TPT++ will be seamless, no name change or anything, it will be just like any other update.

Except the fact that the C version will die out and nobody will use mods aqnymore. (Powder Sim D:)

I guess, of course, if people still wanted to use mods and what not, they still could, it'd just be outdated.
