@primatis(View Post) When the topic has died AKA when the idea is thoroughly discussed and there's nothing left to contribute, therefore the thread gets silent and buries under the new threads. >too many death related verbs
I think i've heard that if it is 5-6 days old, and you post (Unless it's answering a serious question) it is considered a necro. Not sure on that one though.
@This-Is-MC(View Post) Look, just don't post in something that is a done-deal conversation. If a solution has already been produced, the thread is from a year or two ago, or anything that common sense (Considering you do need common sense for this to be true) would tell your instinct's "Hey this looks like it is already solved", don't post in it. Most necros are because people are morons and don't check the date when the last post was posted. If it says something like November 2010 on it please for the sake of Neptune don't post in it.
A necro isn't so much defined by time but rather by the post itself that was used last. If it is like a month old post and someone revives it by saying "hey look a magical winged tortoise" that would be considered a necro. If another post were also a month old and the newest post on it to revive it was saying: " or you can do this, etc. Reasons why" and so on, that is fine.
