2 questions, 1 what are the improvements that C++ has over the current TPT, 2 when is C++ going to be done and ready for download?

as for improvements, I think that I once read that they may add layering in tpt++. Also, I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to scroll through comments on the saves. it should be getting close to being finished, and if u want to download it:

I compiled it for windows and put a link here, it's a little old though, I don't know when I will post another.

Personally, it runs about 1 or 2 fps faster than the official on my computer

There are currently almost no new features in tpt++ that aren't in tpt (at least with element simulation). There are a lot of improvements in the interfaces though, like comment scrolling. It also looks and acts better in a lot of ways. There will be an alpha you can download for testing on the forums soon, once all the features of tpt are in it with no major bugs.

There are not layers in tpt++, but they may be added in the future (maybe). I know Simon has a lot of plans for tpt++, but I don't know what all of them are, since he doesn't write them down anywhere I can see. I know one thing he mentioned was multiple simulation tabs.

I'm not sure where you got that quote, it's old and I crossed out the newer quote because Simon has official snapshots now. Get the links at the bottom of this post.

I search tpt++ on the site and found an old thread for it. That's where I found that quote

Only Windows users can try it out for now.
Also, don't complain if something doesn't work. It's new and it's to be expected.
The deco menu has new modes as well, try to experiment before starting new threads.
