Element suggestions, Via saves.

Can someone stop these ludicrous saves about element suggestions from getting FP, or from even being posted in the first place? I'm getting weary of this, first off people actually think their ideas will get added, they never do, at least from what I have seen so far, and its made more sickening by the fact they trick others into believing so to, whether they realise it or not. Its crazy as it is with noobish bombs, but this is worse because it effects so many people. Suggestions don't work this way, I bust my balls on a suggestion and a save describing (DIRT!!!) gets FP. Not that it matters, but its that others take these mundane means of sharing horrible ideas and consistently screw themselves and others over by having them think that this will get added. Moral of this is that it needs to be stopped, its giving the wrong invitation to noobs and maybe even the stray normal user to use the wrong path to suggest something that, who knows, might actually be great. (No one has proven me wrong on that yet, and I'm not the optimistic type either to say the least.)

Edit: sorry for flamming element suggestions in saves, I just really felt passionate over helping these users understand that there are better ways to suggest things here.

There is no rule against doing that. If anything, it is actually a good way to suggest what new elements might possibly look like and describes them better. It also is a good way to get feedback on those elements that they are suggesting. I agree they shouldn't be on the front page, but where else will they go? Perhaps a suggestions page that is separate from the front page? Good luck.

im gonna have to disagree with you there, there is a specific place for suggestions, and the FP is for simulations ONLY not suggestions...

all they have to do is log onto the easy-to-access forums and post in the feedback area their suggestions with at least 5 or so uses.

easy peasy and ever so cheesy

I want people to realize that nothing will happen when they only post an idea in a save.

Name three elements that were added because of their appearance in a notable save.

(I'm feeling tired right now, so I'm going to log off now, but that doesn't mean I'm done with this thread.)

I'm going to stop here, but I must thank you for saying exactly what I was going to before I nearly fell asleep on my keyboard.

People should be allowed to make saves to help explain them, but I agree, they should NOT get frontpage, we have the forums for a reason. They should be able to make a visual discription if they want, but NOT ruin the frontpage.

@plead, wrong. The Powder Toy front page is for ANY of the saves with the most amount of votes that week. While, it is true that the forums are SO much easier but some people actually think it's better to do the extra work. And more people browse the front page than the forums so what's so wrong about it?

(If you decided to mask your ignorance for the reason I posted this entire thread I wouldn't say what I am about to)

IF IT IS USED IN A SAVE THERE IS ALMOST ALWAYS A 0% CHANCE OF IT EVER BEING ADDED. THAT IS THE ISSUE, ITS A WASTE OF GOOD SPACE.

Sorry I don't know how to underline and bolden my text with the device I'm using right now.
I was not trying to flip out there, but you showed your true capabilities on how NOT to read the thread.
