Trojans!

Yesterday, i visited a site that AUTOMATICALLY downloaded a file. I opened it and the CMD Prompt opened then closed within 2 seconds. I download the Microsoft Security essentials and it has been GREAT! It has caught, and deleted, many Trojans since! 4 Trojans Found so far, i bet there will be more. Which leads me to my questions1 Have you had a Trojan on one of your computers in your life time?2 What Virus Protection Software do you have?3 What has been the worst Virus you have EVER had?Thanks :)

1. Yes.2. AVG.3. One that spread through one of the user accounts, deleted the infected one and started another.

Virus, not antivirus.
1. I think so, yes.
2. Used to use malwarebytes, I am just too lazy to install any at the moment.
3. Hmm.. Not very bad, but I think the worst I had was a virus that, when trying to get rid of it, made the location it was in inacessible. I figured out how to get rid of it tho. -
@tudoreleuu (View Post)Those are Viruses... Disguised as antiviruses. They're actually quite commonly disguised as antiviruses.

3. A virus (or something of the sort) that automatically opened websites (usually inappropriate) regardless of whether a browser was open or not. Luckily it did not harm the computer.
I don't usually get viruses now, as I am more careful about where I go and what I do on the internet. I learnt my lesson after I found 22 viruses (or similar "things" such as trojans... I am unsure of terminology and differences) on my first laptop.
