If anyone goes back in time please change it (the past) so there is no war. Good idea?

Not really, there is a 50/50 chance of our universe being a false-vacuum, if you time travel, the amount of energy used may cause it to decay which would completely change all the laws of physics and destroy all life in the universe as well as making it impossible for any life to ever occur, so unless you want peace via the destruction of all life then it is not a good idea. Plus also the basic fundamental survival instincts that allowed the human race to survive and prosper are the same concepts that cause war so it won't really be possible unless a very effective Leviathan was introduced that could completely suppress the urge to commit harm.

Well, if you were to shoot your past self, there would be 2 parallel universes: one in which you opened a wormhole and got shot (failure!), and one in which you just shot your past self, who was simultaneously in a parallel universe (decoherence), and nothing happened to you.

Quantum Physics is tough, isn't it?

    Time doesnt move
All we see is just a 3d slice of 4d timespace (or maybe even 5d). So if we bend it we might travel in space.
If we bend not only our slice we might travel in time. But we will not be in same timeline. We will be in other one.
To bend we need giantic gravimagnetic force

    mniip:

To bend we need gigantic gravimagnetic force

Which is probably safer than the "travel faster than the speed of light option" since I don't think it would result in death and/or false-vacuum decay.

    Scary thread...
I was thinking if another 'me' is living in another universe where all is different!
If I had two choice ex: tea or coffee, then my other 'me' would drink coffee if i choosed tea?
    maybe...

If you changed the past, and the universe where you was would not change maybe...  and when you changed the past, there would be totally different things to happen ex: a man was about to die by accident, you saved him in past so in future, where you was he wouldn't exist! so you went to another universe and living in another universe where the man would be saved. And the universe where you were, would you be missing?  But the man is already dead in the universe you were... so you only saved him in another universe... woah! maybe..
