    Indeed. The group who have proposed SOPA claim to be against internet piracy, yet they are responsible for most piracy that occurs... In fact they distribute pirating software, and then sue people for using it.

    But on the topic of closing sites, yes it is temporary. For example, wikipedia was meant to be closed for about 24 hours.

    Silly SOPA... It will get rid of sites such as facebook, youtube and twitter (and other major sites)

    wikipedia is down. Can't do my h/w, well, atleast I have an excuse now.
