If you compare the i7 2600k and the amd fx-8150 the difference between the two prices are 20/30 euro's (or slightly more) but I get what you mean mostly amd is low-cost and intel has high prices while the differences between the processors isn't that big.

lol the difference here between 2600k and amd fx-8150 is 30 euro's and for 2700k and amd fx-8150 60 euro's
