I think I embarrassed the staff.

But yeah, you should at least rename the element.
Something more similar to real heavy water wouldn't be a bad addition though.

TPT isn't realistic. Get over it. Plus, it needs more than one difference than water otherwise what was the point in having it?

The only person who should be embarrassed about that thread is you, especially after your "keep quiet, children" post.
How many times does it have to be stated that there's no target for realism?

Now get out kid, the grownups are talking.

Get out kid, the experienced memebers know what this is about!
    Fun > Realism
    Toy /= Simulator
"Oh, my thread was locked, but my point was right, so I'll make another one!"
That's the best way to get people to hate you BTW.

In fact, it wasn't originally called DEUT, it was called WTF. It started as just a liquid sponge that absorbed itself based on temperature. I don't think there was ever any intention to match the real life properties of heavy water.

    As for realism:
Realism is never the main aim here - real life is too complicated to simulate accurately (the other problem is that real life is mostly boring). Occasionally a bit more physics gets added (heat capacity, water equalisation, Newtonian gravity). But we are not trying to reproduce everything from the real world, and we are not going to add every possible compound. Yes, I know Powder Toy is a physics based game, but it is still primarily a game. Only interesting things should be added.

Edit: Also, being condescending and assuming we don't have a clue about physics doesn't help convince people that you have a valid point.

I hope that you read this when you get unbanned:

Many of us know about extremely complicated scientific concepts such as Quantum Mechanics or Thermodynamics. You on the other hand seem know nothing other than what Wikipedia says.

You have no right to talk to cctv that way. He's been here WAY longer than you. No one but you should be embarrassed. "The grown-ups are talking"? The only one who's seeming childish is you. The element is fine the way it is and adds plenty of functionality to the game. We aren't physics toy, or chemistry toy, this game is a game and it's just for fun. Show some respect or get off our forums.
