A couple of weeks ago, the school principal collected about 20 yr 4-6 students. We got a note stating that your child has been selected to take part of a film making course. So yesterday was the first lesson. All goes well and we get homework that was due on Tuesday. It was you had to write a story for a film, the best one will be the main story and the student who wrote it will become the director. So it's Tuesday Morning, and I dicide to do my story. 15 mins later it's done. I bring it to school an I read it to the other student in the group. And I get voted as the best one! NOTE : I'am not very popular at school.
Thts my story, please comment with any spelling errors and yea!
Don't worry about 'not being popular'. I used to as well, but last year I realised the 'popular kids' aren't actually - they just inflate their egos by being dickheads to people smarter, dumber or more talented than them, thereby reassuring themselves that they are 'cool'.
As soon as you stop caring about being 'popular', and about what people think of you, you will be happy with your social situation. And call yourself a nerd sometimes. Wear it as a label of pride, and don't get offended when people insult you. Then you will be happy with yourself - as soon as people can no longer offend you, you rise above them, emotionally and mentally.
@macquarry(View Post) Just as a point: If you want gain popularity, stop trying to be popular, and stop caring about what others think of you. People begin to respect you for who you are! It worked for me!
i'm the lweast popular person in my town i think. but i don't really care what anyone thinks of me cuz im me and if they don't like that they cn deal with it. so yea. popularity aint nothing. that is cool though! lolz.
