I've had Ubuntu for a while now... I seems to be rather good. But, coincidentally, today it started having lots of errors. I fixed some, then more happened. Still right now I'm having trouble getting it to work. It tells me that I haven't set a prefix, then it sends me to grub. I sure hope I can figure out this error.

You can use some software that turns a 4gb USB into a bootable "external CD-drive".

Ah, there's plenty of software but unetbootin is simplest.
