Element Search and Other...

    Perhaps, as the number of elements in TPT is rising, we could integrate a sort of text input-based way of selecting elements. For instance, a shortcut that opens a small box, and you could type FIRE into it. FIRE is henceforth your primary selected element.

    "Element Search" could also be integrated into this. Such as, typing in "T" and getting a list of all elements beginning with "T", followed by elements containing "T."

    I know it isn't necessary, but it would be nice. Plus n00bs wouldn't have to bother everyone with questions about how to spawn EQVE and such, they could just use the search bar, click on the result "EQVE," And Voila.

    Thoughts?

    Hard to code was first thing that came to my mind

    Yeeaah, I like this idea. It may be helpful for those clueless about the console. Then again, people must learn to read the wiki and test out the game a bit.

    @jenn4 Perhaps, but definitely possible, at least I can't see why it wouldn't be.
    @BudCharles True, it's just an idea, figured it might be helpful.

    Lol, what if we can go to the moon but not make an element search box!! :p
    Seriously though, maybe it could be coded in a similar way to the console? But I'm a n00b at coding so don't ask me. :p

    @BudCharles Lolz. It probably could, I know the search function should be possible, as you can search saves. But that's browsing. We would just have to find a way to bring the search function into the simulations, and connect the results in such a way as to select elements.
    @EqualsThree I thought so too, thanks. :)
