Saging and ban list

You can, in fact, a lot of people don't even sign in most of the time. -
A ban list is stupid, it is between the user and moderators, not the public. People would be like "Oooo user X is banned I wonder what he did, I'll make threads!". Most people I'm sure would be glad NOT to have their ban reason out in the public. (Technically bans are displayed on the IRC, but not many people even know what that is)
There are few people who get permanent bans, which are very deserved. And most people end up making a second account and actually obey the rules, which is fine.
And a sage here is pointless, why reply to something that no one will ever see? -

But yeah no matter what words are cut out of the filter people always find ways around them.Wizard101 is a huge example people in that game are always creative with there cuss words because the filters are so tight on that game.You cant even say numbers or my lap. -

I imagine a sage button would alert the mods that someone has something significant to add to the discussion, but does not want to be banned for necroing.
One thing I never uderstood about the mods:
Make topic that has been done before- Locked: use search feature.
Post on that topic- Locked: Do not necro.
I don't understand this logic!
