    If you're looking for software... Game maker is it. But programming is 1000000000000000x better.

    I'm with these two. Game maker is okay, but learning programming and a graphics engine is much better because you can do so much more with it.

    Back when I was coding heavily for a particular online game that shall not be named, I used Cygwin with gcc.

    Side-note: Flaming the TC for asking a question such as this is extremely 'noobish'.

    I used to hate the mods and devs, when I first joined. Seems like with every swing of the BANHAMMAH, I love them more and more. xD
