Plasma Cutter

This is a simple plasma cutting torch that can cut through thin pieces of metal in TPT, while making a hole not much wider than the plasma stream itself. The semiconductor diode is used to keep the charged plasma from accidentally sending a signal back up the wire as it sometimes tries to do.

not very good, but its your first step into the world of lasers and flamethrowers

u can put some white hole or air vent into it. It will shoot faster! I vote up so from -2 > -1.

It's a nice beginning. Please now discover GoL and the ways you could use heating the elements. Then use ETRD to create blasts of hot plasma(NBLE doesn't make quite hot plasma). Make something electronic or artistic. Then you'll rank up.

I upgraded it now and uploaded it as Plasma Cutter 2. Now it uses a small amount of VENT to slightly increase the pressure in the back of the plasma torch.

Use the THDR-VOID effect, it makes instant pressure.

And here's another upgrade, but I had to sacrifice total storage volume of the NBLE by adding lots of VENT for even more pressure.

Thanks for the advice. I've just upgraded according to your specs. I think it works even better now.

Here's what I did to it:

Yes but PCLN-THDR is even better!

Here's what's likely my last upgrade to it, and it's only a bugfix from the previous version I made. In my previous version, the exit velocity was so great after running it continuously that many NBLE atoms skiped the ionization grid altogether and left the gun as NBLE, instead of PLSM, and you'd have to let off using the SPRK quite frequently. I fixed that this time by making the ionization grid larger. Though a lot still leaves as NBLE, this time it's mostly PLSM even after running the device (holding SPRK on the power cable) for a long time.
