Those are from a previous version of the code. I am rewriting everything for version 2.0, which currently doesn't include gluons, or any new elements for that matter, and doesn't have std::strings in Particle.h. I remember that error from last time

Edit: I have released this stable version as 1.4

Well, I just compiled the most recent code I found in the main post, if you want a newer version then put the newer code somewhere.

And yeah, never ever put a std::string inside Particle.h, I think char* is also bad but maybe not in some cases.

The strings are now generated upon displaying the name, they aren't stored in the particles anymore

As for psuedo-evolution, does that mean that if you exposed a number of organisms to acid, a couple would have a gene for acid-resistance and reproduce and become resistant to acid, or would it be simplier than that?

    ...so no strings attached?

puns aside, I'm glad to see progress being made on this. It's one of my favorite mods.

by pseudo-evolution, I mean that there will be situations where, if you have enough nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, etc with the right amount of heat and pressure for enough time, then amino acids, carbohydrates, proteins, and dna will begin to form. This would be able to mix around with eachother for a while to create a CELL particle, which will have a certain type (skin, nerve, skeletal, etc). Then, certain types of CELL, when near eachother, will stick to eachother and act as an organism. And yes, I have already acheived this in the code, you'll just have to wait for the release ;)
