    and the first one i actually could run because i put it in the same folder as the powder.pref (the one that had newtonian gravity enabled) was. but newtonian gravity still fails when i enable it.

    OK, I updated my mod to a new version now :D

    Version 28.1 (build 40) 5/9/13
    Fix crash with Newtonian Gravity, by compiling on the update server instead of on my new computer.

    I'm still not sure why it happened, but that last release was the first time I tried compiling my mod on this new computer. Nothing related to Newtonian Gravity was changed, but TPT uses fftw and threads, both of which can be occasionally unstable. I recompiled the windows versions to build 40 to fix this, on the mniip.com update server. The linux 64 bit version doesn't have this problem and there currently is no 32 bit linux version so that doesn't either. Everything should work fine now.


    Edit: For anyone that can't run the mod, either 1) redownload the latest version from the first post or the one on the previous page or 2) delete powder.pref. Preferably option 1.

     when i try to run the file it says error launching program and offers to send an error report. What can i do???

    When I got this computer, I released the 28.1 update, but didn't realize that if you turned Newtonian Gravity on, it would just crash and refuse to relaunch. No idea why this computer does that, but I recompiled it somewhere else and the problem is fixed. You can also delete powder.pref and it should launch again (this fixes crashing issues often, also deleting tabs/)

    Yo jacob, your mod wont connect to the internet for some reason. re-downloading didn't help. but when I connect to faster internet it has no probs.

    uh ... probably your internet :P. Either that or the server wasn't working at the exact second you tried it?

    As for the update server, it's had tons of problems recently. One lasted all night and was my fault, I was reorganizing some stuff on the update server and never confirmed that it would work. The others are just repeated server downtime, it's having some weird problems sometimes ...

    If middle-click is only causing gray colors to be sampled, try increasing the size of the brush. That's a bug I forgot to fix I guess ...

    And there may be some more easter eggs (i'll always try and add more), probably best to keep them secret :P

    @jacob1 I just found out that you already updated your mod with the portal/proton fixes... and my laser works ossumly with it! Thanks! ^_^
